New Year in Port Dickson
As the end of the year approached, our group consists of Indonesian friends wanted to do something special to celebrate. Instead of fireworks, crowded malls, or city celebrations, we decided to welcome the new year in our own way, by going to the beach. Actually, I’m not celebrating New Year’s, but I just want to enjoy and spent time with my friends.
On December 31, we gathered in KIZ and departed around 8 p.m. with three cars. There were about fifteen of us in total, excited and slightly chaotic as we organized rides and made sure no one was left behind. When we finally arrived at Port Dickson, the beach atmosphere was very peaceful and the sound of waves makes me felt calm. We found a comfortable spot and settled down, forming small circles to talk, laugh, and play simple games. It was the kind of gathering that strengthened friendships without needing anything else, just conversations, shared stories, and mutual excitement about a new year ahead.
After spending some time at the beach, we decided to go back to KIZ. On the way back, we stopped in Putrajaya, heading to a McDonald’s near the Putrajaya bridge. We spent time by talking with each other and ordered some food to eat together. After that, we back to KIZ at around 2am and this is most fun new year in my life.
