Exploring a Part of UKM Bangi

 



Exploring UKM Bangi turned out to be more exciting than I expected. As I remember, it was my second week stay inside campus and using bus as my daily transport. FYI I barely used public transport before, especially bus. Because there is only a few public transport in my hometown. So, I don’t have much experience using public tranport such bus.

At that time I just finished my class in the afternoon and the wheater was very hot. So, I wanted to go back to my kolej as soon as possible and after my last class at Pusanika I took a bus to KKM because the route shows that the bus will pass KIZ bus stop. But, when the bus pass one stop before KIZ stop I didn’t saw any bus stop accross the bus stop that I used before. After all, I just followed the bus until the last stop at KKM. 

Suddenly the bus stop in fornt of KKM canteen and I also felt very hungry that time. So, I decided to explore food in the canteen. One of my favourite food is ayam gepuk because of the low price and for me it’s delicious for food with a cheap price. Yap.. That’s my short story about my sudden exploration.

First Impression to UKM

I have came to UKM before decided to pursue my study here and it’s around July 2025. At that time I already received some offer letter from another 2 university in Malaysia. So, before I decided to choose which university that fit to me I came to the 2 university that accepted me and UKM. UKM is the first university that I visited that time and suddenly I fell in love with the campus environment. I feel very comfortable to walk around UKM and I can say the campus environment is really into me.  So, after the first time I came to UKM and I decide to choose this university. Even there is a lot of monkey around here but, it’s not a big problem for me. The campus environment is very calm and green. In another hand UKM located a bit far from central of city. Being Part of PPI UKM

  The year 2026 began with a new chapter and a decision that felt both exciting and meaningful. After months of joining events, meeting fellow Indonesians, and forming friendships, I finally chose to take a step further by becoming an official member of PPI UKM.  I applied and was accepted into the Intellectual Division, a branch that focuses on academic programs, knowledge-sharing, and development activities. For me, it was a source of pride, because not only I could contribute something useful, but also because it meant I was becoming more involved in the Indonesian community abroad. Starting the year with this new responsibility made 2026 feel promising.
